Christine – Freedom Tree Intern 2013

Freedom Tree to me is a movement. It is not just the things we do, or the leader, or the money donated that makes it run; but the people are the movement. I would say that being a part of this conglomeration of people has really changed my life! Being a part of this has set me free to be me and it is setting me free to be me. And that is one of the greatest things I could ask for. Because of this freedom the mission trip, fundraising, and various tasks that I have been a part of are able to just be an outpouring of my heart. I love the people and I love the passion that fuels us, and together we are making a difference. And being a part of something that is bigger than me and is making such a difference brings me so much joy!
